Welcome all! My name is Michael and I'm an eighteen year old looking to pursue my dream. Becoming a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has always been my dream job ever since I was little. On my free time my favorite thing to do is work on cars with my family and play video games. I was always concerned with the issue of drug abuse as it's seen everywhere, including part of my dream job and in video games. My favorite thing to do is work on older classic American muscle cars from the 1940's - 1970's. Restoring these cars with my family makes me jubilant because we usually put a prodigious motor under the hood after the car's restored and I get to drive it afterwards! Another thing I enjoy doing on my spare time is listening to music, it keeps me sane. I listen to all different kinds of music ranging from hip hop and r&b, transitioning all the way to alternative and country. I also plan on getting my masters degree in Criminal Justice in only five years, I'm ready to take on any obstacle because I know that obstacles only lead to opportunities.

What's up everyone, my name is Zach and I am eighteen years old. Two things that have always stood out to me are music and fashion. I had one of my first pairs of Jordan's when I was only in first grade. Ever since then I was interested in sports shoes and understanding the story or value behind each pair. Today I am a sneaker collector of high profile shoes and those that are easier to find. Music also plays a huge part in my life because I am always listening to it. It's very rare to not catch me without headphones in my ears. My favorite types of music are Hip-hop and r&b since I have grown up listening to them and it always motivates me in whatever I may be doing. I believe that a dream is just a goal with a deadline and we can achieve greatness if we work hard and strive to the best of our ablitity. Some of my favorite sports are basketball and swimming which is why I am a lifeguard. When I graduate college I would like to go to law school to become a lawyer. Soon I will have ttrade in my sneakers for suits and ties !
What's happening everybody! My name is Robert and I am in my second semester in John Jay college. I live in Queens, New York and I would never choose anywhere else to live. I recently discovered that I like to write and I am thinking about taking a journalism class. A journalism class would be great for me because it would give me the opportunity to put all my thoughts on paper while writing about different stories or ideas. This means a lot to me because I can write about a story and put my own style and perspective into it. I also enjoy music and clothes so my secondary idea would be to go into media studies. As I got older I realized the media has a lot of control on society and I want to be the person that is behind the curtains rather than the one in front of them.

– Dr. Seuss Hey everyone! My name is Christina, I'm seventeen, and I'm an undergrad at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I decided not too long ago that if there is one thing I want to pursue, it is to get a degree in Forensic Psychology! I'm looking forward to getting a PhD in the future but until then, books and art are the two things that will get me there! Growing up, I always had a book in my hand since reading was always my escape. Just like George R.R. Martin once said “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.” I’ve been drawing since I was able to hold a pencil! I love being able to make just about anything into something. Being involved with visual arts is apart of me. I spent my high school years in my school’s visual arts academy with the hopes of majoring in art. Although I’m not currently pursuing it, I plan to in the future! The world is your canvas so go out holding your paintbrush up high, ready to create a beautiful masterpiece along the way! |
